Wildlife you may see
Macaws at active clay licks, harpy eagle (in season, at active nests), giant river otter, pink river dolphin, black caiman, multiple monkey species, hoatzin, and a high diversity of forest birds. Jaguar sightings along river beaches are possible but not guaranteed.
Best season
Operations follow the water cycle. May through November for the dry season (more beach activity, easier river travel); December through April for the high-water season (better access to flooded forest channels and certain bird species).
